This is one string of a story line involving 3 young women, all with problematic backgrounds and all with the determination to put themselves through college and follow a dream. Rae's story can be read without any of the others, but you will want to read EVERYTHING by the time you are finished! I'm addicted!
Rae is from a dirt poor farm in a really regressive religious area near the Mexican border. She got a scholarship to college, and still had a difficult time persuading her family to let her go, which she only managed by agreeing to room with her extremely repressive cousin, Hester. The two of them had two more roommates, Georgie and Lizzy, who provided her some relief with a more realistic viewpoint on life.
Rae had a cousin with severe disability problems. She wanted to get a degree in psychology and open a clinic she planned to call A Ray of Light, to provide all the services that children like her cousin would need in one place. She was loosing her scholarship in her sophomore year because she couldn't pass her statistics class. No one in her family could or would help her stay in school. She would have to go home, marry, get a dead end job, and live the rest of her life like everyone else she knew. Until then, she planned to party hearty, to the horror of Hester. Georgie and Lizzy were putting themselves through school, too, and had lucrative part time jobs. They decided to share the possibilities with Rae. As long as it didn't involve drugs and was legal, Rae was willing to listen. From there, it just gets better and better! And as an added benefit, the entire Rae series is $0.99! I urge you to give it a shot, unless you object to the explicit sexual content, which I admit I am getting tired of reading in many available books, but the plot lines in Blair Babylon's books carry through! I've recommended them to several friends!

Rae is a small town girl who hopes and dreams to help the world, mean while also battling her cult-like family who won’t respect her dreams and goals of making a clinic for autistic children. Rae is studying in college thanks to a scholarship she received, but in an unexpected turn of events Rae ends up meeting The Dom of the Devilhouse with whom she experiences a sizzling connection.
Rae & Wulf’s story deals with overcoming difficulties, differences, love, friendship, companionship and obviously sex, but I feel as if that isn’t the only thing this series is about, for me this is the kind of book were you are rooting for your heroine and you actually get to emotionally invest in whole characters, not the shell of some half written character .
This book is a combination of the entire Wulf and Rae story from beginning to end (it’s it really the end - I don’t think so). Rae is an innocent college student who is in danger of loosing her scholarship and therefore her freedom from her deeply religious family who believe that a woman’s place is in the home making babies and taking care of their husbands. Rae dreams of much more than that and was able to attend college to get her Pyschology degree so she can eventually help children like her cousin who has severe autism.

When Rae learns she is going to fail a class and that will result in her loosing her scholarship, her friends and roommates, Lizzy and Georgie, help her out by introducing her to their boss - The Dom.

The Dom runs a place called the Devilhouse - where you can do all sorts of things Rae’s family wouldn’t approve of her doing. She meets The Dom but doesn’t realize who he is and then both their worlds are turned upside down.

You’ll be hooked after the first few chapters as this book takes you on an amazing adventure and as we realize who the man is behind the shiny shell named The Dom.

After you finish this amazing long and exciting book, go on to read Lizzy and Georgie’s stories as they are just as exciting!

Oh my gosh!!! This book was everything that I want out of a romance novel. I loved the characters, could not predict the plot turns, and the action was HOT HOT HOT! There were multiple moments where I had to take a second and physically swoon over this story. I am only sad that I had not discovered Blair Babylon before now. I got this book for free in Unlimited and am going to immediate buy everything she has ever written! I loved Rae and Wulf so much, their love story was unexpected and powerful. I love the way that Blair writes the characters. They are dynamic and real. Wish I could give this book ten stars!
