I enjoyed this novella. I loved the heroine, Raven. I didn't like the hero, the 1880 Lence. Just a little too intense and I hesitate to say this, but a little too abusive. If it were not for the rope tying incident, he would have won me over from the beginning, because of his heartbreaking story. The story is a twist of a couple that has doubles in both time eras. They need to fix the problems that would of kept their great grandchildren from the lives they need to live you will definitely want to read the next installment of the story. All the trials they go through to get where they need to be.
I gave this story 5 stars because I truly enjoyed this story. I would recommend reading the free prequel. It will help you to better understand this time travel story. This is a stand alone story, but I am really looking forward to reading the next book that comes out!!
Good first book--hard to keep track of which time period and person was body was present as people faded in and out, but once Raven was finally in
1880, her character came alive, accepted the role of fate, and Lance learned to love a new woman. Sweet dance of romance.
Another very touching love story. It sure is confusing to the people who get chosen to time travel. Shocks they must overcome.
Raven meets Lance but is he her Lance? Where did she get sent to and what year is it? Can she go back home? Will she want to?
Please get this wonderful book and read it for yourself to find out everything that happens. I know you will like it too just as much as I have. Chapters are short, but the story line is great. And the characters are amazing.
This is an amazing time travel adventure that is simply amazing. Once I started it, I could not put it down. You need to read the prequel to this wonderful story and be ready to fall in love with this series. I can not wait until the next book is out. Simply amazing. A must read.
I love time travel books and was so excited when I found out about this series. This book is a great start to the series. The interaction between Raven and Lance was difficult at first, but you get to know why Lance is so hard headed as the book goes along. Having Charlotte make an appearance gave you more insight into the relationship between Charlotte and Lance and why things happened as they did. I'm looking forward to reading the next book in the series.
I chose the 5 star rating because this book was so sweet and fun to read. Raven is a girl that is almost obsessed with the man she thought she loved ( been there) but when she meets the man of her dreams she never knew she wanted, she finds true happiness. That's a little like my own love story. (except the time travel) This is a wonderful story, I can't wait for the next installment.
